Who is this course not for?
If you're not willing to dedicate time and effort into your business, this isn't the place for you. You will only get out as much as you put in.
This course also does not teach pattern drafting. Rather, we take your existing pattern and turn it into a PDF sewing pattern (plus a whole lot more). If you want to learn patternmaking and grading, I highly recommend the Confident Pattermaking and Grading course!

What else do I need to take this course?
You will need Adobe Illustrator (no prior experience necessary!) to design illustrations, and to format your patterns for printing and projecting.
We use the free version of Canva to design your pattern instructions, but you can also use Adobe Illustrator if you prefer.
For editing video tutorials, we use iMovie, but you can also use other editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

I’m a sewing pattern designer, business mentor, and someone who loves to sew clothes!
After falling in love with sewing and designing, I opened a made-to-order sustainable clothing brand. A few years and a big move later, I realized that I could only sew so many clothes with my own two hands and it was time to pivot my business.
Although I loved sewing for customers, it wasn't sustainable. I needed to figure out a way to make money that didn’t involve me working all the time. If this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
